Illena Draekar had no idea why she applied to be a dragon rider. She had her reasons, of course. Nary was left to the dragons as a baby. Quite literally- her parents wrapped her up in a blanket, and left her in the Vale. Nary was raised by the dragons, all until she got found by Fen Riorson.
