Keith is a university student and aspiring writer. The only problem is, he's been struggling with writer's block since basically the dawn of time. Or at least since second semester started. The teacher likes him at least, and accepts his insanely depressing stories off as "experimenting with emotions". But this semester, things are buckling down. Not only will the class be doing short stories pertaining to certain prompts every other week, but their final, given to them on the first day back, is a completed, not so short, story all inspired by whatever word they draw from the pile. And with Keith's luck, his word is the thing he hates most: the ocean.
