This is the story about Aenar Targaryen, otherwise known as Caspian Snow the older brother of Jon Snow. This trial would have gone on for hours until Jon Arryn convinced Robert to let him foster Caspian. Robert instantly agrees with Jon Arryn's request and so Caspian would be trained by Jon Arryn in everything, and just like Ned would see Jon Arryn like a grandfather.
