Caroline is a sixteen- year- old girl in the year 2020, when a war is declared on her country of America. Russia is planning sneak attacks and the US needs young soldiers to fight. 100 boys are chosen from each state to fight in the war. But what would happen when there is a girl on the list? Caroline finds herself drawn for the war and has to keep up to shows she's not afraid. The boys keep taunting her and she needs to prove she is stronger than they know. Along the way she meets Sam, the only boy who seems to stand up for her and becomes her friend. But slowly Sam's feelings are starting to change. Can Caroline deal with the looming war and make it out alive? Will she put aside her feelings to survive this battle? Can Caroline stay true to herself, or will thoughts of war and blood affect her mind? A tale of standing up for yourself and never showing that they get to you. Women empowerment all the way.
