In the month between the third and fourth phases of the Chunin Exam, Atsu has disappeared in a flash, nothing but a cleaned room and a small note in her stead. Atsu, having lost her two most trusted friends and learning new, dramatic things about her family, decided she needed some alone time. Rage, disappointment, sadness, confusion; with a number of different emotions swirling in her tight heart, she travels to one place she knows she's be safest. Her mind. Watch as the young white-haired kunoichi starts to train herself in both body and soul, learning more and more about her forgotten past. Red eyes glowed in the darkness, gazing around the dark room before suddenly a bright light flickered on, revealing the room's contents. On each wall of the room were doors, one golden, one silver, one bronze, and one pitch black. A lit-up arrow pointed to the bronze door and Atsu hesitantly took a step towards the bronze door. She turned the cold nob, bright light flooding through the door's crack as she pushed open the heavy door. "Hello."

If you choose to continue living as an ignorant soul...well, they can still get you." -•- Avery White has feared the dark all of her life. But no one really knows the true meaning behind it. Avery didn't either. Until she met the Hunters. Darkness spreads as evil grows. The more Avery learns, the more she fears. The more dangerous she becomes. Never underestimate the poor soul you know who fears the dark. They see much more than you do, after all. But remember. They can still find you.

〰"You were a fool to ever believe in me."〰 Kaylee Williams has spent the past few years of her life on the run from her psychotic parents, never settling down or staying in one place for too long. That all changed when she saw on the news that a plane had gone down with both of her parents inside of it. Despite being packed full of doubt and trust issues, she finds her world shifting as she moves in with her aunt who lives in the small town of Ashford, Connecticut. With a couple of new friends and a frustrating boy who seems to think that he owns her, she finally starts to feel something that she hasn't felt in years. A sense of security. But when her past pops back into her present, she is reminded that normality is not for her and that she's not nearly as safe as she thought. And she may never be. 〰〰〰〰〰 A glimpse into Kaylee's past: "I found out I was adopted when I was 8. It never really bothered me though. My parents were still my parents to me and they were still the ones who raised me. I still loved them, and they still loved me. They could be a bit detached and unemotional sometimes, but they were never ones for affection. They started training me when I was 10. They didn't tell me what for, until I was 12 and they introduced me to the world of werewolves. And werewolf hunters. The latter category is what my family fell under. So imagine the irony when on my sixteenth birthday I sprout a pair of fangs and a tail. And also gain the good fortune of my parents trying to kill me. Yeah, happy sweet sixteen to me."
