You guys met in a society that didn't hold a specific name, but was only known for this one skill. Match making. No records of divorce or any conflicts in general are shown between the couples that were match made. People are matched with others, living happily with them for the rest of their lives. People from across the world would ask and beg to be brought forth a match but the association in charge of this would deny and send them back home. So you would instinctively think that on your 21st birthday, the day and age that you would be match made, everything would go perfect. That's what everyone around you thought. But every story can't have a sweet ride, and this one can't either.
