These are actually lyrics to a song that I made but they can double as a peom. I am posting it because it has some important details in it that I will talk about in later poems.

Happy Halloween screamed the voices in my head... I watch from a distance as my body collapses. Hopefully something good will come from its ashes. This touches on some things I mentioned in my poem "off to the ocean phare".

"see no scars but its all a lie, they only check wrists not thighs" I read this quote and it inspired me to write a small piece from their point of view.

This is just a short piece I wrote about the love hate relationship I have as a gymnast with the beam. I hope all the gymnasts out there can relate.

Because if you crack, you fear you won't have enough ink to turn your notepaper black.
