They only wanted the best. Rachel is an only child with a lawyer and a nurse for parents, which means they work long hours and are sometimes away. They still manage to push Rachel for top grades because "top grades are needed for the top Universities." Connor's parents are a little bit more laid back, only slightly. His mother works part-time at the local coffee shop in town and his father works full-time at an office. They can't afford to send Connor to a top school, but do try to give him everything he needs to get by in life. They have saved for years, since their teen years for Connor. The money they've saved will go towards Connor's life from the moment he wants to move out, or the moment he goes to University.
