After decades Bonnie will have lived her life and passed on allowing Elena to wake up; young, beautiful and human. Damon will have Elena back, but will she be the one he really wants? And who will be there for Elena when she wakes up?

In this story, the sacrifice ritual happens in season 3, resulting in all of the originals dead except Elijah. Instead, Elijah is transformed back into a human. Elena helps Elijah cope with the loss of his family. Elena and Elijah fall in love and move into a house together, and eventually getting married. While in perfect happiness, Elijah is confronted with the possibility of his family returning from the other side to take revenge on him. Will his new life with Elena be destroyed? (This doesn't follow the original story line.)

After Damon passes Elena is left to mourn over her beloved. Elijah helps Elena to recover and they begin to swoon over each other. Part 2 will be called PURE Story takes place after season 5 I do not own the vampire diaries
