The strike is over, the Newsies are hawking headlines once more, and all seems right in New York City. Jack and Katherine's relationship is going steady, and they're both very happy. Everything is going their way. But when Joseph Pulitzer finds out about it, will he and the Delancys tear them apart once and for all? Is there any way to keep them together? Princess Katherine Pulitzer is miserable. She hates being a princess. All of the manners, uncomfortable dresses, and arranged courtships would be enough to make anyone go insane. But her routine life is thrown out of balance when she's abducted by two strangers. Things start to take an adventurous turn when she meets a group of boys with special abilities who show her about life with a bit of freedom. (Modern fic.
