"Amber!" Michael screams, as I lose my balance and start free falling towards the cold, hard, forest floor. My arms flail wildly trying to find purchase on the blurred branches that rush past me. The ground grows closer and I scream and scream knowing that if I hit the ground I would die. His fearful green eyes catch my tearful orange ones as I fall. "Help..." I whisper as tears fly past my face. I'm going to die. Run. But my feet seem to have a mind of their own, as they stay rooted in place. I have to run. I urge myself to move. My stubborn feet are stuck in place. I swear, they're gonna be the death of me. NOW. I can finally move and I attempt to leave, ready to dash away, but in a blink second I stumble backwards and trip over the garden hose. Just like me to trip over a hose when I'm running away from a guy with a knife. I hit the ground with a muted thud and watch a beautiful, red ladybug with two black spots on it's wings, crawl up my hand as my vision fades. -*- Via is just a girl with an extremely basic and unexciting life. Then one day she is attacked and her life is turned upside-down. Soon after the attack she meets a boy in the hospital, who intrigues her, but will he discover her secret? As she starts trying to untangle the mess that is her life, it becomes harder and harder to stay alive.
