Growing up with a famous street magician as a father, Athena found the art of magic intriguing and amazing. Her father taught her all the trickery of magic and he always tell her the story of his mentor and best friend Lionel Shrike, who died in a terrible accident. After her father passed away, due to a horrible car accident, she was depressed and decided to move to the hearts of NYC. After her regular street shows, she followed the path that was given from a tarot card found in her wallet. She found herself at a god awful apartment, there she met J. Daniel Atlas (The Lovers), Henley Reeves (The High Priestess), Merritt McKinney (Hermit) and Jack Wilder (Death). Each holds a different meaning, and different skills, and all five of them need to work together to bring themselves into the light. When my mother was alive, magic was the only string that kept her and I together. The silly card tricks, even pulling a rabbit out of the hat. It all connected me to her, pulling me into a seemingly better reality than where I was. But in the blink of an eye, she was gone. That string snapped. Magic was only real if you believed, and at that point, it was just a game to me. All it did was provide false hope. I forced myself to keep performing for her, deceive others into thinking that what they saw was real. Seeing magic fill others with joy made me question; why. Why would seeing something impossible make someone so happy? Because seeing is believing. And the closer you look, the less you'll see.

Strength. A word that indicates the importance of mind over matter, and reminds you to focus on what you do want rather than what you don't want in your life. Strength. The main point is that you have the ability to harness your thoughts and to use them for your - and everyone else's - highest good. Not only do you have the ability; you have the responsibility.
