'Idiot.' 'Douche bag.' 'Dumbass.' 'Jer---' 'WILL YOU STOP HOVERING!' His grating voice snapped me out of my rant. I glanced behind me, looking for the unfortunate person the idiot was yelling at. There was no one else in the room. I closed my eyes and rubbed them furiously. There was still no one else in the room. My eyes widened slightly as I looked at him, realization dawning on me. 'You can see me!' I gasped. It wasn't a question. It was statement of disbelief but that didn't stop the idiot from replying. 'No, I'm talking to the other stalker ghost behind you.' He muttered sarcastically. 'You can see me!' I screamed in amazement, too distracted to realize he insulted me. 'Sweet heavens! He can see me!' 'I think we've already established that baby doll.' He rolled his eyes. His condescending tone coupled with the patronizing look that had "you are crazy" written all over it was enough to snap me out of the temporary state of euphoria. __________________ Four little words. Very simple words that changed my existence and gave me hope for the first time in over two hundred years. Someone could see me. He could see me! Now I just have to figure out a way to convince the biggest jerk I know to help me lift a two hundred year old curse. Piece of cake.

Her name is Misery, and she does NOT want company. *** It's not every day sixteen-year-old Misery Hayes finds a rock band full of pretty boys on her door step. Actually, it's not every day Misery interacts with humans, because being named after an emotion Merriam-Webster defined as "extreme suffering" tended to make one a loner. Well, sort of. You see: Enid Conception Diaz, Youtube sensation and Misery's best friend, has sold her Tuesday afternoons to Blue Vendetta, an extremely popular alternative rock band consisting of one moody lead singer, one tease of a guitarist, one amiable bassist, and the world's most unstable drummer. Can Blue Vendetta help Misery open up? Or will she prove whoever said "Misery loves company" horribly wrong? {FIRST BOOK IN 'THE GIRL IN THE HOODIE' SERIES} {2014-2018} A girl moved to California two years ago. No one knows what she looks like. All they know is that she wears a hoodie. *~*~*~* "HOLY SHIT, NOAH! WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU LET THE TROLLEY GO?! COME BACK! OH MY FUCKING LIFE, FIZZY DRINKS UP AHEAD--" BANG FIZZ POP "...am I dead?" I'm suddenly grabbed by the back of my hoodie and pulled up from the ground and out of the mess of the opened bottles of fizzy which had exploded when the trolley and I crashed into them. My hands instantly go to my hood and I sigh in relief to find that it hadn't fallen off through all of that. I turn my head and look the the employee who's holding me, his face completely red and the vein in his neck throbbing. "Wassup, dude?" I smile sheepishly. *~* {HIGHEST RANKINGS: #1 in Funny #1 in Sad And #1 in Cancer apparently }
