Alors que le monde sorcier se remet peu à peu des blessures de la Guerre, une nouvelle menace apparaît, cette-fois ci plus étrange que puissante. L'association Moldue "Likk", fondé par Arnaud Likk, n'a pour but que de détruire les sorciers sous l'accord du Gouvernement Anglais. Les sorciers doivent être plus prudents que jamais car une Chasse vient d'être lancée. Pour remédier à cela, le Ministre de la Magie, Kingsley, décide de former des duos qualifiés pour s'infiltrer dans l'association et la détruire à petits feux. Le problème étant que celui-ci ne réalisait pas l'ampleur de son acte quand il décida de mettre Drago Malefoy, Auror de grande réputation et Hermione Granger, meilleure sorcière de sa génération, ensemble. S'en suivit des chamailleries, des sauvetages, des réconforts, des souffrances et des batailles. La guerre venait d'être proclamée, et pendant que plusieurs sorciers mourraient chaque jour, leur relation commençait à prendre une autre tournure qu'aucun des deux n'auraient imaginé. Une mission dangereuse pour leurs vies, mais aussi pour leurs sentiments naissants. Elle s'avère plus difficile que prévue et les deux Aurors ne savent pas si ils s'en sortiront indemnes. Ou du moins, s'ils s'en sortiront tout court. + Le monde d'Harry Potter appartient à J.K Rowling.
