Spoilers for The Darkest Legacy by Alexandra Bracken!! Basically an extension of TDL, but written by me. Prologue Part 1 & 2 are Ruby's POV and the rest is Zu's POV because we need more Rozume than we got. Rubiam, Chida and Priyana are in this book, I won't break them up because that's too much to handle, and yeah! Enjoy! At first the people feared the disease because it killed 90% of America's children. But then, they feared it because of what it did to the ones who lived. The ones like me. It turned us into freaks, as the adults like to say. The disease gave us special abilities. We were strong. The government feared us. As the government does when it fears things, it locked us away. They segregated us by colour, by danger, and sent us to live in camps. But I won't have that. Jia Thorin won't have that. I will do whatever it takes to stop this, including joining the Children's League, an organization that advocates for the kids of America, the ones who live. The ones like me.
