A NIGERIAN THEMED NOVEL "There's something I want to confess." Priscilla eyed her warily as she cleaned the inside of a wine glass. "And what could that be?" "ummm," Fumnaya stalled twiddling her finger nervously. "I want the director." Priscilla crossed her arms, giving Fumn a hard stare. "I thought as much." Fumnaya is a four hundred level student of agriculture. She decided to go for a job as a waitress at a high end club at NTA road because she at first needed the extra cash to pay for her peculiar fees. She met up with the club manager and sweet talked him into letting her take the position despite her innocent face. On her third day of resuming work, the hotel manager called for a general meeting and recounted the do's and don't's of the club. And one of them was staying clear of the director's path. Despite having a guy that loved her, Fumn couldn't hold herself from lusting after the hot shot director who was married with kids. He was an older man with sparse gray hairs and a whole lot of cash. He commanded attention wherever he went and was known for sleeping with his pimps. No matter what Fumnaya did, the director never looked in her direction. Instead, she caught the eye of his good bad boy son, Michael, after an awkward encounter. But Fumnaya wasn't deterred, she quit her job as a waitress and applied for the position of a pimp the minute she got the chance. Little did she know that she'd be caught in an intricate web of hatred and jealousy. Warning: Strong language, sexual content and mild swear words. Proceed at your own convenience! A Romance - Thriller. •~• An accident brings Laura Taiwo to a coma. After a year, she is awake with no memory of the people around her especially the handsome, sexy doctor who claims to be her husband. But she seems to remember a nightmare she's been having for a year. . . in a coma. Her nightmare not only shatters her whole world, but it brings her closer to the real one. Excerpt🎬: "You like what you see?" He crossed his arms over his chest, aligning his muscles and raising his ash polo shirt which gave her a great view of his Calvin Klein boxers. Being a chicken, she avoided his steamy gaze and gave an excuse to use the toilet. She ran into the master bedroom and she stared into the mirror. Her exacerbated reflection didn't deflect the daring gaze Jonathan had burned into her. "I thought people only ran when they were chased." He spoke from the door, his lean body relaxed on its frame. His voice teased her and pleased her. He moved closer before she could utter a lame excuse. He stopped less than a feet away from her, she cranked her neck to look boldly at him. She could feel his breath on her face but he didn't touch her still. So why could she feel him everywhere? *------------------------------------------------* Best Rankings on RTF: 26/08/2021: #3 Romamcereads2020 06/07/2021: #1 Africa 23/01/2021: #2 Amazon 22/02/2020: #1 Phoniexquill2019 03/05/2020: #1 Taa2019 #1 Projectnaija #5 Amazon #1 Assassin 20/05/2020: #5 BestBooksOnWattpad 14/06/2020: #1 Africabookclub #5 Hotline 16/08/2022 ~ 1/11/2022: #1 Proudnigerian Edited by ©IgweSharonstone ©IgweSharonstone.2019 Disclaimer: the picture in the cover photo doesn't belong to me in any way.
