Raised in a Christian foster home, Angel Miller was the oldest. Like most foster children, when they turn eighteen they're released into the world on their own. Angel though, stayed and helped out the kids. One night, something mysteriously happens to the foster home and his life changes greatly.

"I'm scared," she whispered. It was the first words she said since I found her huddled down in the basement. "But, nothing's going to happen to you!" I assured her. Big sistering was hard. I hugged her in my arms. "I'm not scared for me," she whispered into my ear. I hugged her tighter. I asked, "Then what are you scared for?" She had these moments a lot. Making simple situations so dramatic. I had to support her, still. After all, she was my sister. I loved her to death. "I'm scared for you."
