Its Rebekah's birthday and everyone is bickering over who can control another person better. For 13 days they (Klaus Caroline Elijah Katherine Elena Damon Bonnie Matt Stephan Kol Tyler Jeremy Rebekah ) play games of each persons choosing and who ever wins can control the person of there choosing. When Caroline goes to New Orleans to get Klaus to turn his humanity on, she ends up staying longer than she expected ~ Just as Klaus thinks he has lost everything, his favorite baby vampire turns up at his door ~ I do not own The Vampire Diaries, The Originals, or any of the characters! ~ I didn't really do a specific time period, but these are some things you should know about my story: 1. Caroline's mom died of cancer 2. Bonnie died saving Jeremy 3. Kol is alive 4. Silas is still around 5. Katherine never got the cure shoved down her throat 6. Elena isn't in a coffin I just took parts that I think would work the best for this story so please enjoy! ~ I typically update every few days unless something comes up.

This story takes place after season 8 of the vampire diaries. After Stefan died, Damon & Elena became human and Bonnie went to travel the world. Caroline felt alone. (There are no Hope, Lizzie and Josie). She knows that one day all of her friends would die and that she would be the one left alone. She decides to go to New Orleans... I do not own any of the CWs characters.

Klaus asks Caroline to dance with him. At first she rejects him but says yes. While they danced, Klaus tells her he's leaving the town next day. Caroline responses with anything but relief. He says he would invite her to go with him but he knows she's not ready yet. He tells her that he'll show her "what the world has to offer" if she shows up on his doorstep one day. Caroline just scoffs, hurting Klaus' feelings. Before Klaus leaves the dance, he promises Caroline that she'll soon be bored with her "small-town life" and that it won't be enough for her. Caroline watches Klaus leave, with an unquestioned look on her face. After that day Klaus left, they never saw each other again. Which is over 3 years. What happenes when the charming Klaus moves to the town again? What happenes when the broken (Caroline's mother just died by cancer. Cancer, we all hope you get cancer and die.) Caroline meets Klaus? Will he heal her? Will Klaus be the one to get to kiss Caroline lips softly and hug her so tight that all of her broken pieces will stick back together?
