Dean Winchester is nineteen years old and only a year out of high school when he gets sent to the hospital after a argument with his father. Nothing serious occurred, but Dean was required to spend the next few days under observation. While he is spending his time in the hospital of utter boredom, he meets Castiel, a young man the same age as him as a patient of cancer. Forming a quick bond, he begins visiting the boy even when he gets out, but is something more going on?

Dean Winchester is, once again, new at a school. In fact, this is the third school he's been to this year. Dean expects the norm: girls worshipping him around every corner and no permanent friends. But then a gorgeous plot twist waltzes into Dean's life: Castiel Novak. Known as The Nerd to everyone else, he is always buried in a book and has no friends. But the two boys find something special throughout the seemingly endless journey that is known as life. *All characters belong to the CW, while ideas are purely a work of fiction made up by me.

Castiel Novak. He's the schools top jock, acceding the roll of quarterback. He has the most beautiful girl friend, Anna, who is also the top cheerleader. Dean Winchester. He's the schools most unwanted nerd. He has no friends, except for one: his little brother. He's bullied constantly for little things, such as being gay. Castiel, being the big football player, bullies kids. He tries to go with the flow, but one kid he kept picking on catches his eye a few times and makes his heart sink with every torturous thing he does to this poor kid. But the question is, who is he?

(this story includes triggering things such as: bullying, self harm, abuse, etc) Dean Winchester's life is complicated. After his mothers death, he has basically raised his little brother, Sam. Their father has hardly been in their lives, his job as a drug dealer requiring him to disappear for long periods of time and causing them to move around a lot. But when their dad finally gets arrested, a man named Bobby Singer takes the boys in and enrolls them in a more permanent school. And as if his father's incident wasn't hard enough on him, Dean begins to question his sexuality when he meets quiet, introverted, and (he must admit) quite cute Castiel.

Just your typical Destiel Highschool au! Castiel's family are mutants that have badass wings 'n shit Everyone else is a pretty normal human i guess. Castiel has this major crush on Dean, but Dean doesn't even notice him that much until they have to do a project in school together that requires they spend a LOT of time together. This entire fanfiction is completely ridiculous, basically just crack don't expect much serious stuff.

Summer 2015, the summer at the Novak's house, the unusual group of teens liked to call it, the summer everyone found a place for themselves. The summer everyone found someone else.
