Lady Eleanor Cantwell, daughter of the Marquess of Salford, is a proper young lady. With her golden complexion, raven-black hair, and manners befitting a princess, Lady Eleanor has always been deemed a belle. There is just one problem. Lady Eleanor Cantwell is Indian. Having been adopted from India when Lady Salford found herself unable to bear a child, Lady Eleanor is shunned by society, including her mother, on account of her true heritage. The ladies turn their noses at her and the gentlemen only wish for her virtue which she clings to dearly. They certainly have no wish to wed an Indian girl, no matter how pretty she is! Which is why the entire ton is incredulous when a young man - a duke, no less! - offers his hand in marriage to the young daughter of the Marquess of Salford. Lady Eleanor finds it quite hard to believe that any gentleman would wish to marry her and instead of feeling grateful, all she feels is remorse and anger. A husband would only bring with him a mountain of restrictions that were detrimental to her plans of travelling the world - the land of her ancestors, in particular. So, when her parents sell her off to the duke, she realises that she no longer cares for society, her beloved father, or her reputation. And when the duke makes her an enticing offer, she realises she would have to abandon all sense of propriety, manners, and rules to do what he asks of her. She would have to defy. . * 1st Place Winner in HISTORICAL FICTION of the HIDDEN GEMS AWARDS * Featured in the "Diverse Fiction" reading list by @Ambassadors * Featured in the "Historical Fiction" reading list by @AmbassadorsIN * Featured in the "Ambassador's Monthly Picks (Oct 2025)", "War & Military" and "Historical DiverseLit" reading lists by @HistoricalFiction * Featured in the "Historical Adventures" and "DiverseLit Adventures" reading lists by @adventure

Now available in paperback! "I LOVE IT!" - CarniaHolmes "I'm going to break your nose, because I don't like your face," Carter said. She pointed to Zac. "I'm going to dislocate your other shoulder, just to make them even." She cocked her head and gave the main guy a sickly sweet smile. "I'm going to break your wrist, taking away your baseball career. And finally you, Finch," she said, looking to the last guy. "I'm going to bust your ankle because I don't like the way you walk." She slid her hands into her pockets. "Now, how does that sound to all of you? And please feel free to look amused, skeptical or patronizing at this point. I'll have all the more fun wiping the expressions off your faces." Carter Owens, daughter of a Secret Service agent, is trained to disassemble any weapon, any situation, and anyone. Her biting sarcasm and razor-sharp mind make her impossible to beat in a word fight and when talking doesn't work, she uses her fists. She attends Hamilton Prep, Washington D.C.'s most prestigious high school, where everyone is related to someone in power, except her. When Hamilton Prep receives a flood of new students, Carter's role as social outcast changes when she makes two unexpected friends. Friends who are hiding a secret. As Carter uncovers the truth, she confronts challenges she is unequipped to handle and finds herself in a dangerous situation. For a girl trained to see everything, Carter never saw this coming. "This is one of those books that seem like it won't be really good, but then it's mindblowing-ly amazing and then you're questioning life =)" - rwrites07 "#rr for like the 10th time haha love this book" - tahls16 "I loved this book, it wasn't cringey cliche or stupid. I normally hate third person books but I loved this and all the characters, especially carter." - lenathedov Editor's Choice Talk of The Town #1 Teen Fiction, #1 Fiction #1 Love #1 Completed #1 New Adult #1 Friendship #1 Funny #1 Drama

Faith Mitchell was never confident. She was happy to blend into the background, much to the protest of her friends. At 16, her life was a normal teenage cliche. She was in love with Jace, the obnoxious player who she couldn't have, and her biggest worry was whether or not he would finally come to his senses and see that she really was the one for him. That is until she is kidnapped and recruited by a secret agency of assassins. She is torn away from her normal teenage life and thrown into a world of guns, knifes and criminals. The agency mold her into the perfect killing machine, and at 19 she is no longer the shy girl that was snatched away from her uncomplicated life, but a ruthless killer who will stop at nothing to complete whatever mission she is on. Then, the agency has a new mission which involves Faith returning to her hometown, and facing her friends, family and the very boy who broke her heart just before it turned into stone. What will happen once Faith comes face to face with Jace? Will the obnoxious player be able to reach out and get the old Faith back without pressing any of her wrong buttons, considering that the shy girl he once knew now has a gun. [Highest rank #2 in Action 19/09/17] [Highest rank #20 in Adventure 09/02/18] This book is currently on hold but you are more than welcome to read what is up already. Unedited/ First Draft ----------------------------------- My name is Lillian Kelly and I'm seventeen. I'm that girl that nobody ever notices, who just goes through the school year as a shadow lurking in the background. I'm classified as the school's nerd with my black thick rimmed glasses, my high grades and my style of clothes that consists of T-shirts, jeans, an oversized hoodie and my beat up converse. I get bullied but the thing is I can stop it but at the same time I can't otherwise I might blow my cover. The cover I have held for a year already but you know things don't always go to plan like how was I supposed to know that the three most popular boys in school would want to hang out with a 'nerd' like me but I guess miracles happen, I just wish that this particular miracle would have happened to someone other than me. My job was simple. 1. Blend into the background. 2. Don't draw attention to yourself 3. Don't reveal you true identity. 4. Don't die during the process. While I have already failed one and two and I have come close to four. Let's just hope that I don't break number three otherwise all hell will break loose. People will die and I will be the reason why and I refuse to let that happen not now or ever.
