Her little sister was buried under the fallen debris. Shizu desperately tried lifting the heavy concrete out of her way as her sister's bloodied hand was sticking out the rubble- as if reaching for help. --------------------- Just a few moments ago, Shizu was in her high school graduation ceremony, frolicking with her classmates . The next moment she was holding the severed arm of what used to be her best friend. An explosion turned the graduation party into a hellscape, and it seemed to have originated from the hospital her sister was in. A traumatized Shizu raced past the blood, brains and bodies of the classmates she studied with since childhood. The once beautiful blue sky turned grim grey, and a crimson fire raged in the already devastated city. Shizu ran, she had to ensure her sister's ' safety. "Mama! My leg hurts! Mama!" A toddler complained about his bruises, tugging the remaining hand of his mother's crushed body as the fire engulfed him. Shizu ignored and continued to run. "Darling? What happened?! Where are you? Why is everything so dark! I'm scared... Please don't leave my hand like this!" A young woman, blinded by the fire, deafened by sound, looked for her husband. The latter was burning, screaming the former's name. Shizu's eyes turned watery- but she pushed herself on, for Haru, her little sister. A middle aged woman, grabbed Shizu from her side catching her unawares. "My baby! Have you seen my baby!?!" The woman pointed towards a cradle charred black by the fire. "I-I don't know! Leave me alone!" Shizu forcibly shook the woman's arm off her shoulders. The woman persisted "Please help me look for my Baby- The woman was interrupted by Shizu who violently pushed her away. "I don't care! Can't you see it turned to ashes! LEAVE ME ALONE!!" Shizu contiued to run, after yelling at the heartbroken mother. She said to herself, "Haru, please be safe" But she reached the hospital, to find her sister under the rubble.
