He's a golden boy but with an ego bigger than Brendon's forehead. ➳Matteusz Andrzejewski is gay. He just chooses to ignore it for the sake of his Christian's parents. It all was going pretty well until they enrolled him into a different school. ➳ Thomas Paige is a top student in WCKD Academy. Yet he's a party animal. If only, he could handle drinking. We've reached a point where our society is jugding every little thing we do. But that's okay. It makes us stronger. These kids could never be cool but they had each other and that was enough.

Κάπου σε έναν κόσμο αρκετά διαφορετικό από τον δικό μας γεννήθηκε μια κοπέλα. Τα μαλλιά της ήταν μαύρα σαν τον έβενο. Το δέρμα της λευκό σαν το χιόνι και τα μάτια της Γαλάζια σαν τον πάγο. Δεν ήταν όμως όπως οι άλλες. Μπορούσε να δει πράγματα που κανείς άλλος δεν μπορούσε. Η ίδια η οικογένεια της την φοβόταν. Πίστευαν ότι ήταν μάγισσα, ότι την είχε ακουμπήσει ο διάβολος ή απλά τρελή. Ο Πατέρας της φεύγοντας για ένα από τα εμπορικά του ταξίδια αποφάσισε να βρει την γιατρειά για αυτήν την αρρώστια. Δεν ήθελε όλοι να φοβούνται την κόρη του, ούτε να είναι συνεχώς κλεισμένη στο σπίτι. Δεν επέστρεψε όμως ποτέ. Η μητέρα της την κατηγόρισε για τον θάνατο του άντρα της και την πέταξε από το σπίτι.
