Cloud is a recent graduate from high school who's cousin takes him to Midgar city, becoming Lazard's assistant- or a more accurate term would be desk jockey- and meets the attractive models that work for the Shinra fashion company. With a little nudge from his aunt, and a rather vulgar comment from his usually polite cousin, Cloud decides to take the four men up on their offer. Sephiroth, along with Angeal, Zack, and Genesis have been resurrected. The only problem...Sephiroth hasn't changed, and as punishment for his sins, is cursed by the Goddess. In order to break the curse, he must learn to love another and earn her love in return...and he has only a year to do so. Meanwhile, Sylvia, a beautiful, and mysterious blue-haired woman has little idea of the part she is to play in Sephiroth's life. Can Sephiroth find redemption in her? Or will he be doomed to stay cursed for all eternity?

Two years after the planets jeopardy by Sephiroth, Cloud lives separate and alone from most of the world, acting as a delivery man for his own Postal Company: Strife Delivery Service. Strife Delivery Service works with Tifa's 7th Heaven in caring for orphaned children infected with Geostigma Syndrome, a disease caused by Jenova's cells in the Lifestream that can result in severe pain or death. When the planet is threatened again, Cloud finds himself carrying around the mistakes of his past, believing in his incapability a protecting anyone. Cloud's emmotional wounds allow him to be feint of heart, oppressed by the memories lost. Seeking forgiveness, he fights for the chance at redemption. With the life of the planet at stake, Cloud fights on, battling his sins to save others. Cloud also struggles with his physical condition of being inflicted with Geostigma as well, which brings about painful memories of the past.
