It's the story of a young Viking. Actually, he isn't that young anymore. He's 23 years old now. His name is Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III. 8 years ago, he had to run away from his beloved home Berk because he became best friends with a creature that no Viking should ever become friends with: a dragon. Follow the brave Viking on a journey filled with joy, pain and even love, as he comes back to Berk... quite unexpectedly. 20/07/18: Changed the dialogue format and corrected a few grammatical errors. Hiccup was always considered the weakling of the village, he was bullied, pushed around and beaten up by all the other teens, even his cousin and the girl he loved. but it was only until one day when he shot down a night fury the most feared dragon in the whole archipelago, the so called offspring of lightning and death itself. But when he couldn't kill the dragon he took the other option... and trained it. him and toothless were the best of friends but one day when he is chosen to kill the monstrous night mare in dragon training , he can't handle it so he runs away on the back of toothless, but only for the two to be snatched up by dragons. but 5 years later when hiccup returns to Berk, he is not the hiccup they all once knew.

He ran away because he was nothing but a burden. Five years later a mysterious rider came to Berk to defeat Dagur, but the truth is he came back to Berk to protect them.

Hiccup, a viking never felt belonged in the village of Berk. Being builled for most of his life, Hiccup had enough. In the midst of the forest, he encounters something... or someone. A dragon. With this dragon, would the village of Berk finally realized their wrongdoings?

Seeing as there was nothing left for the dragon-rider pair, they set off into the unknown to map their own paths. But now, five years after they defeated the Red Death and were disgraced, Hiccup, now known as Sun the Rogue, recieves a call to return to Berk in exchange for this captured teammates. Him and Toothless, or now Nightstalker, return to their original home and have to fight not only strange new enemies, but their pasts they tried to hide from. ---------------- WHY. IS. Here's another one of my fan-fictions. Imagine if Hiccup had mounted Toothless in the ring after he was saved from the Monsterous Nightmare. Once Hiccup was saved by toothless, his father dashed towards them with his axe raised but to the chief's surprise, they flew away. Hiccup flew as far away from Berk as fast as he possibly could and promised to never return because Hiccup knew he never truly belonged with them, the dragons killers while he was a dragon at heart. After Hiccup ran away he was soon presumed dead. 5 years later, Alvin the treacherous kidnapped Stoick to settle a feud. Both with Stoick and someone else. Stoick knew Hiccup was out there somewhere, alive and well deep down; but he kept trying to convince himself otherwise, and it was getting to be too long with too little hope. Then a strange young man shows up on the outcast island.

Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, the son of the chief of Berk Stoick the vast. He was considered the runt, weakling.... failure of the village. But when the village finds out that Hiccup had befriended a dragon... a beast... they took matters into their own hands and gave him a punishment, one that they all would regret when it was uplifted but one that changed him for the best.

They all thought Hiccup was dead. Stoick blamed Astrid, and when Drago threatens the Archipelago with his dragon army, her fate will be in the hands of the enigmatic Dragon master. (Daily updates)
