[Lone Ranger sequel] Corie Blake was having the time of her life. For the first time in many years, she was not in Eichen House. She was living with the boy she'd been seeing all her life, and her best friend was right alongside of her, ready to take on high school with her. They had multiple pranks up their sleeve, and there was no Brunski to stop them. Corie thought life was pretty great, especially because she'd been reintroduced to the love of her life life, ice cream. She allowed herself to think she was safe. The assassins really threw that feeling down the drain. Now more than ever, Corie needs to master her seeing gift. It's the key to stopping so many deaths from happening. However, when she needs it most, it fails her. The glimpses she gets are never enough to know exactly when or where the assassins will hit next, or even who they're going after. She only has an impending feeling that someone's going to die, which doesn't really help, since everyone is always on the verge of dying in this supernatural mess. To sum it up, Corie Blake is not having the time of her life. The only help she has to understand her gift better is Lydia, but even she can only do so much, especially since Corie is as mysterious as ever and refuses to talk about her past.
