What would you do if you had the power to change the weather and you also lived in Britain, the place with constant rain. That would be the weirdest super power anywhere else but luckily she saves the lives of all the British kids living in her area who have to walk home in the rain. The story is told by another character who may just be obsessed with the conspiracy theory that is- this girls existence.

After losing her mother in a traumatic car accident, Avery begins to feel as if she only has herself left in the world. Her relationship with her father has completely changed after losing her mother, and so has her way of living. This all changes when Avery runs into a stray dog in the woods and feels the need to help him. However, she can't do much seeing as her father has grown to absolutely hate dogs because of the way her mother died. Can Avery finally convince her father that there's more to life than the lifestyle he has chosen to live? Will she finally find happiness in her life once more?
