Evan Hansen had always had such a constant stutter and such a bad stammer that he hated it. He hated the slight lisp, the mispronounciations, the speech therapy he went into, so one day, he just stopped. He stopped talking. He learned simple sign language phrases to help him, and what he couldn't sign, he wrote down. But, nobody really tried to talk to him anyway, so he thought it didn't matter. Connor Murphy seemed to be one of the only people who didn't mind Evan not talking. Actually, he seemed to be the only one who was accepting of Evan. Chris passes out before he can see what happens, but all he knows is that when he wakes up he's in Jason's arms, and he panics. If there's any hope of saving Chris, then he'll have to confront his demons, and let the one person who really cares confront them with him. But what if the one he trusts... Isn't even human.
