Gerard loves his brother Mikey more than anything, but doesn't want to open up to him. Opening up means he accepts what's happened to him-- but no, he doesn't. He doesn't have depression, he doesn't have anxiety, he doesn't have an eating disorder, and his self-harm isn't a problem. Frank is a misfit, with only a few friends. He gets bullied, but not severely, along with said friends. This doesn't bother him, Ray, or Mikey, and Gerard says it doesn't bother him, but Franks's beginning to see that that's a lie. Gerard Way is now twenty-three and lives in a group home, where he's learning to become a responsible adult. It's been six years since Frank Iero came into his life, only to vanish without a trace after all the horrible things he's done to him. Despite all this, Gerard longs for Frank, wondering why he suddenly disappeared. After Gerard starts to hear Frank's voice in his mind and has constant dreams of him, he realizes that he is far away, but is calling for him. Shortly before losing his father to cancer, Frank develops a change of heart and becomes a caregiver. Getting sick of working many dead-end and crummy jobs at nursing homes, he takes up in-home care, where he meets Gerard, an old friend from high school. Diagnosed with a terrible illness that is soon to claim his life, Gerard has a very negative outlook on life, feeling both worthless and beyond help. But, will any of that change when his old high school friend, and now caregiver, comes back into his life? (Kudos to momiji_neyuki for collaborating with me on this fic!)

Two boys move into the Iero house as foster kids. The younger brother is like a parental figure for his older brother who lost most of his memory and developed a mental disorder after an accident. But Frank Iero is there to help the older brother through a lot of things and surprisingly, the older brother begins to trust Frank more than he trusts his younger brother.

A 21-year-old guy that goes by the name of Frank Iero knows how to play the guitar. He had some singing classes and after a few hours of die hard working he also had a song. The song was about a guy he saw a lot. He saw him at the mall, in the local record store and he also came across the guy a lot in several coffee shops, though the guy was always accompanied by a lanky boy with mousy brown hair and a black beanie that covered most of it. He even believed they used to be in high school together. Frank fell himself getting attracted to this certain nameless guy. The guy had everything Frank searched in a partner. He had a good sense of humor -based on how many times he saw the lanky guy laugh-, he mostly wore band shirts -he had a very good taste in music- and skinny jeans. His hair was dyed black. Though he never managed to catch the guy's attention, phone number or even his name, he sure as hell was attracted to him, so he decided to write a song about and for him. It's called "Be My Baby". A month after he wrote the song, the local record store held a band slam. Of course, Frank would preform on it, hoping the guy would be there.

My Chemical Romance is a big hit and the band members are closer than ever. But when tragedy in its cruelest form strikes the Way brothers, it shocks all the members to their very cores. It also drudges up Gerard's dark past, and when it's revealed to Frank, Gerard fears their relationship may be in danger. Will Frank still love someone so fucked up?
