Cu mult, mult timp inainte ca oamenii sa fie creati din cenusa tuturor zeilor si zeitelor, se facuse o profetie: ce se putea sa salveze oamenii de masacrele ce vor urma sau putea distruge omenirea de pe fata pamantului.
Dar, zeii, mai incapatanati si avizi de putere, decat oricand, credeau ca odata cu sfarsitul oamenilor, facuti din insasi cei mai puternici zei, aveau sa sfarseasca si ei. Si ce rost are darul nemuririi daca in final mori din vina unor barbari ce nu pot echilibra balanta lumii? Asa ca s-au decis sa ingroape profetia - infatisata ca o simpla foaie de hartie - in adancul vidului. Zeii Greci il numeau Tartar, crezand ca insusi intunericul se ascundea acolo. Egiptenii il numeau Duat, stiind ca sarpele haosului, Apophis, isi avea drumul noaptea - sfarmand vise, aducand noi forte haosului. Zeii Nordici il numeau Imparatia Hel, unde doar sufletele chinuite ajungeau, iar crestinii au inceput sa faca dupa mult timp legaturi logice si i-au zis Iad, stiind ca raul pur isi avea veacul acolo, ca focul vesnic trosnea, dornic sa ia parte la sfarsitul nostru.
Desi, zeii au omis un lucru, ca totul are un echilibru, un balans. Bine si rau. Intuneric si lumina. Asa ca, atunci cand au ingropat profetia in acel loc, unde raul etern isi avea vecia, nu au realizat cat au gresit.
