Kirk Walner is a senior student who made a promise to his best friend that he will marry her if he manages to take stolen pictures of all the girls in school, every year, before the end of high school. The girls can't know he's taking the picture and they must be genuinely smiling in the photo. It can't be fake. He has standards and if the photo doesn't meet the condition above, it will not be counted and will be taken out. His priorities are the girls that have been abused or bullied or hurt and the more he completes his tasks, the more he realizes how happy he can make these girls smile and how much he enjoys helping them. He has already succeeded in his previous years. He knows how to deal with them. However, just when it was going smoothly towards his goal, a girl named Hannah Claire—a transferred senior student—blocks his way of reaching his goal. For some unknown reason, it seems impossible to make her smile. He tries his best to get her attention, but he realizes, the longer he persists in trying to help her the more his feelings distort.
