Vaera Leatharyen is the main character of this fan-fiction story based on the Valyrian Freehold at its peak. Vaera Leatharyen was the eldest daughter of Daeron 'Ashborn' Leatharyen one of the most notorious dragon-lords to roam the skies of the East. Daeron's family was distinctly wealthy before his time, however his conquests and the forceful push of the Valyrian borders across the east lined his pockets with mass riches off the ashes and flames he set upon the Eastern cities. In Vaera's reign over the Leatharyen's seat of power upon on of the fourteen flames, her eyes are set on the West. Vaera had a very influential seat of power within the empire of dragons, many feared her house's power. The Valyrian freehold was home to many secrets and wonders, the Valyrian Peninusla being one of the most advanced civilizations of its time. In its prime, a fear-mongering empire. Will a warlord's daughter be able to navigate herself through this vicious storm of dragons? This story revolves and focuses on the once glorious Valyrian Peninsula which was ruled by dragon-lord families. The story is based in the world of George R. R. Martin's A song of Ice and Fire but the story's contents are not related or connected to his works. It is simply a fan-fiction written by me and my imagination. None of the contents of this story are canon, expect confirmed details of the lore from what we know of Valyrian culture.
