When the pills are switched out for an antidote Tails creates after Shadow nearly kills Sonic, Shadow takes them without realizing to finish what he started. An emotion if artificial attraction from the antidote takes Shadow over, an addition begins to form. An addition for an emotion Shadow hadn't felt since Maria, one he didn't want to forget again.
