Religion rules Constantine's world...and she has been condemned as the Spawn of the Devil. She is a Champion, a human being blessed with superhuman abilities by the deities of her world. However, her patron happens to be the Lord of War and Strategy - and women were never supposed to be Champions of War. In order to survive in a world that would rip her apart, she disguises as a boy, training to fulfil her supposed destiny. But fate has other things in store for her. An ancient evil is rising - and only Constantine may have the power needed to fight it. Along with a brash warrior and a too-perceptive scholar, Constantine begins to unravel secrets of a prophecy foretelling the end of the world. Now, she must learn how to fight evil with nothing but a magical knife as well as powers she knows next-to-nothing of. The real problem though? She may have been the one to call the great evil in the first place. ************ Now a Wattpad Featured story! The epic tale of the company of Thorin Oakenshield has been recounted time and time again, an adventure unlike any other Middle-earth has seen. The story of how thirteen dwarves and a hobbit reclaimed the great kingdom of Erebor is not easily forgotten. The telling you may have heard, however, left some things out, maybe even someone. It would seem that through the many retellings, an elf was deprived of her deserved glory within this tale. This is the story of Laerornien, the daughter of Thranduil, the sister of Legolas, and the forgotten fifteenth member of the company of Thorin Oakenshield. In an attempt to save her people from the wrath of Thrór's dragon sickness, the elven princess sacrificed the heirlooms of her kin, the White Gems of Lasgalen. The consequence was banishment from her own kingdom. Sixty years later, she left her lonely sanctuary in Rivendell as a member of the company with her trust put in their leader, who had promised the return of the gems. The dwarves travelled with a common need to reclaim their home, and those gems would ensure the return of her own. Those who know the story know the grim end, but Laerornien's place in it deserves to be told. Her sacrifice did not end with her surrender of the gems, but with something much greater, and it saved the kingdom of Erebor when the final battle seemed lost. This is not the story you were told, but it may just be the story you were meant to hear. Absolutely beautiful cover made by @paradoxe All the characters and storyline of the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings belong to J.R.R. Tolkien. My interpretation and character, Laerornien, belongs to me.

[A Wattpad FEATURED story!] She's been King Thranduil's close friend for a long time. But when a shocking rumor about his past comes to light, it shakes her entire world. How well does she really know him? With the threat of war and an uncertain future for the Woodland Realm, her comfortable life is changing forever, and so are her feelings for her friend. A story about second chances with eventual romance. Set during the events of the Lord of the Rings. Thranduil/OC Disclaimer: Everything belongs to Tolkien except for my characters. A/N: It was before Christmas 2014 when I first watched BBC's Emma with Romola Garai (wonderful, by the way - watch it if you haven't). A few days later I went to see The Hobbit BOTFA on its opening night. It was during a car trip from a family Christmas party when I came up with idea for this story. And while it doesn't follow the Jane Austen classic completely (Thranduil is no Mr. Knightley!), it was certainly inspired by it. I enjoyed the challenge. Check out the FB page for the story: facebook.com/StarsofVardafanpage/ (thanks to @MaggieShivers for creating it and running it!)

Being a king is hard. Raising a son is hard. Living with eternal grief is hard. King Thranduil is just trying to keep his kingdom running and his son safe when an elf is found with orcs at the border of Greenwood. Who could this mysterious elf truly be? But then the elf he rescued in the forest grows closer to Legolas, and Thranduil can not help but enjoy her company as well. Darkness descends over the forest, all because of this one elf. When lives are threatened, Thranduil must make a choice: his kingdom or his heart. 12/14/21- y'all I wrote this in high school and I kinda want to go through it again and do a bunch of editing. Some of my writing makes me cringe and what are we here for if not improvement. That being said, this story will change starting today probably and if you're in the middle of it, hopefully I don't confuse details or timelines for you. If you've already read it once and just felt like you had to read it again, maybe it will provide some new enjoyment. Who knows? Maybe I'll actually finish some other stuff I have on here.
