Loosely based off of my interpretation of the song Roman Holiday by Halsey. (Multiple ships) Bertolt Hoover's life had been rather happy. His family was in tact, his adoptive brother was a good friend of his, and everyone loved him. He had grown up in the church along with his friends and never found himself doing anything wrong. Being one of the nicest people around, him and Marco were given the responsibility to welcome every new student when they arrived. Reiner Braun was a bad kid, and was rather rude to those around him. Bertolt had never been a social person, but Reiner just seemed like he needed a friend. ~So there's this guy in my class at Wall Rose High School. It's safe to say that he stands out more than anybody and we have some strange people at our school, including myself. This kid's name is Marco Bott. He's got dark brown hair, tan skin, an infestation of freckles, and terrible taste in fashion. ~ Jean thought the same thing as everyone else about the strange character named Marco, which was "stay away from the dorky weirdo". Jean had seen the kid look at him from afar and he didn't want to be anywhere near the loser, and he'd planned to do so; until they got paired up in an art class they had to take. JeanMarco is my OTP and there will be harsh language because Jean is a punk/bad to the bone type guy. Marco is well... He's a dork down to the core and nothing can change that, same with Jean being a jerk to everyone. That is, until they both get thrown together and one of them realizes that the other isn't that bad. This is ReiBert. Not many people write stories for this ship so imma do one. Bertolt is a dancer and he gets accepted into an academy for extremely talented people. He has social anxiety so when he gets to his dorm room and sees the big buff blonde that is his roommate. The guy, Reiner, is a nice guy. But that doesn't stop Bertolt from being nervous around him all the time, and he sure doesn't want the other to find out he is a dancer because of the fear of being bullied. What he doesn't expect is gaining an unbreakable friendship with the guy that may turn into something more when they have to work together for a recital. Side ships will be mentioned. So this is the sequel to the story "Academy of the Artists" which is a ReiBert story. Reiner and Bertolt are married and they have moved to America. Bertolt has a job but that job requires him to work long hours and hardly ever come home to Reiner. Reiner thinks that Bert is cheating on him so how does he fix it? You don't have to read the first story, because it sucks but it would be better for references in this one. I hope you like this and it has triggers so be careful. Hey guys! So, this is the reincarnation story of my ReiBert trilogy, the stories consisted of "Academy of the Artist", "Keeping a Strong Performance", and "The Final Act". These stories aren't necessarily important to this story so don't worry about reading those if you haven't. Anyhow, Bertolt is a happy, married man with a young child and a great job. His wife, however, abuses drugs and she isn't happy with him so she up and leaves him, causing him to nearly break but he can't due to the fact that his child needs him. He continues to go to work and let's his child stay at a daycare during the day. Everything just seemed like it was falling apart until Bertolt went to pick up his daughter and met the new guy working there that shot a feeling of familiarity through him. However, Reiner just so happens to be in a very committed relationship with a girl. Triggers possibly.
