Three months after the death of Bill on the Isle of Drear, Stan and Ford return to Gravity Falls to visit Mabel and Dipper, who are staying for winter break, and the rest of their friends; including Bella McCreary, who moved back to the town after the destruction of the axolotl. This time, everyone can be completely reassured that the dream demon who haunts their memories will never be making a return. But not everyone is rejoicing the end of Cipher. There are still those who would have benefitted greatly from Bill's full return to the power that he hadn't had for a trillion years, and are now forced to lurk in the shadows, planning their revenge.
