In the Sandwen Realm, all Pegasi are trained to be fierce battle steeds - it's how the Sandwen people protect eachother from the warring Giants and Spit Dragons. Aquila was just born in the Ruk, where foals are kept, and will soon to be trained for brutal fighting and battalion ways. Aquila's dam told her stories of all the Pegasi warriors and what journeys they went through, and hearing these stories, Aquila is disgusted. She wants nothing to do with the Sandwen people or with their armour that is to be placed upon her. Aquila's time to be properly trained is coming quickly. How will she act with the Sandwen people, and how will they proceed with her?

Prior to the Omnic Crisis, humanity had been in a golden age of prosperity and technology development. Humans developed robots with artificial intelligence called "Omnics", which were put to use to achieve economic equality, and began to be treated as people in their own right. The Omnic Crisis began when the worldwide automated "omnium" facilities that produced them, started producing a series of lethal, hostile robots, that attacked humankind. The United Nations quickly formed Overwatch, an international task force to combat this threat and restore order.
