This is a collection of mostly free-verse poetry. I wrote during some of the roughest trials I've faced in my young life. Most of these poems deal with mental illness and healing from trauma.

[COMPLETED] "If you're going to do something, do it the lady way." Straight forward, gracefully , not letting anyone in your way and keeping your eyes on the goal. That, my friend, was the lady way. Jun Takahashi comes from a small family that people at Ouran would consider 'poor'. Her mother always taught her growing up to do things the lady way, which was to still act like a lady but be dominate and not let anything stand in your way. Be aggressive, yet graceful at the same time. Be a lady but take charge like a man would. As her mother gets more ill, she only wishes for the best for her daughter and her older son Kyo. The siblings decide to try and get into Ouran High School for a better life but Kyo shakes his head at the idea of her going to Ouran, stating that she's just a fragile little girl and would break under the pressure of such a school. He says that she wouldn't make it through the year there, even if she was a boy. Neighbors agree, friends agree, her father agrees, grandparents agree and heck, even the pets could agree at this point. Deciding to prove them all wrong - she takes charge. Doing it the lady way, the unisex name changes from Jun, a female to Jun, a male. Dressing up as a boy and getting into Ouran. It wasn't all that hard, until she bumped into the host club. Accidentally breaking a statue that was on display in the music room, her families debt gets deeper. Yet again, she takes charge and does it the lady way, agreeing to become a host to get her and her family out of this debt, and show her brother that she can do this too. The thing is, she came in as a boy and that's what they'll know her as until the day comes when they all find out. No matter what, she'll continue to do it the lady way.

When Ivy gets kidnapped by a shadow that's been stalking her, she finds herself as a prisoner that Pan uses for his games. But what will happen when feelings emerge?

In the days of legend, when every man knew of yokai and their dangers, there were the sacred beasts. Seen as guardians of the people, they were worshiped by some as strongly as the gods. Unlike the average yokai, they meant no harm. Each merely viewed themselves as a protector of their region. A shield between the yokai and the fragile humans. To the east laid the fearsome dragon. The south to the virtuous phoenix. The north to the wise tortoise. The west to the king of beasts- the fierce white tiger. Over time, however, the people forgot about them. As the yokai drew more into the world of yonder the need for such protectors died away along with many minor gods and goddesses who'd also served as a barrier between the worlds. Unlike the born gods, however, the yokai didn't depend on their worshipers to live. Having toed the line between divinity and demon for years, many of them survived, blending into the yokai world as common creatures. Akitora, the last in a long line of such beasts, is a memory of the forgotten age. Unable to completely push away the past, she's wandered for years, concealing herself among the crowd. A warrior in an age where such people are unneeded. When she comes across another soul, one who's barely out of the old age themselves, Akitora finally finds the anchor needed to settle her in the present. After all, she made a promise before the death of her age. And she intends to keep it. **Summary under major construction**

Candelaria Castro, or Cande as she insists on most people calling her, has a rather strict outlook on life. "Life is too quick, too fleeting. It's better to do things now rather than later. Later might never come." Sweets are seen as a luxery, exercise as a must, and moving from her deceased father's home in Spain to her married mother's home in Japan just a roadbump on her lifeplan. With her eyes set on the distant future, Cande lands herself next to someone who is more than happy to just enjoy the sweet things in life. As the world around her begins to grow more and more complicated with dangerous plots and unexpected family members, she discovers just how sour her outlook on life may be.
