#7 in employee #190 in Hidden #285 in Mafia -- "Mr Amadio is ready for you now, if you'd like to just enter here," she informs. "Okay, thank you." The door is pinned with a glass sign embossed with the gold letters 'LUCA AMADIO'. As Rosalie pushes it open and gestures for me to enter, I don't allow myself to hesitate before stepping in. The excess of open space is the first thing I notice. The very air in here seems changed, and an enticing scent of rosewood and something warm and tingly lingers in the air. Organised shelves of documents adorn the walls, a clean black shade that contrasts with the pearly tones of the walls. The carpeted floor is a constant beige, and as my gaze follows it up the centre of the room, I finally take in the unnecessarily large desk that sits before a spotless window just as unnecessarily large. My eyes lift up a few inches further to my interviewer, and I instantly feel assaulted as I meet his unreadable stare. Instantly, a deep pink floods my face. Sharp features and an angular jaw face me, calculating gaze scanning me up and down. One hand strokes the short stubble dancing across his chin as he contemplates my presence. Dark eyes framed by enviously thick eyelashes scrape their way up to meet my startled ones. So much so for my talent of restraining my blush. I clear my throat, willing away the flustered feeling so uncharacteristic to me, and introduce myself with a smile. "Good afternoon, I am-" "I know who you are, Sylvie-Anne Roberts." Initially, I'm taken-aback by the Italian twang laced through his words. Then, I register the deep, smooth, tone of his voice. And eventually, I realise that he knows my full name, even though I only ever go by 'Sylvie Roberts'. -- Began: 11th April 2018 Completed: Cover: @rainouts
