All across the land of Mobius, in towns and cities, fear of two beings has been spread like a wildfire. Two killers, one a red hooded hedgehog who carries a scythe and a pistol and feasts on the corpses of his victims, and the other, a feral werehog with a thirst for blood and only listens to his cloaked partner. Unfortunately there's a deeper story behind the two that the people never pick up on. Shadow, the red hooded hedgehog, and a cannibalistic hedgehog. He's always been outcast since he ran away from the cult he was raised in, then he met his lover and his partner in murder Sonic, the werehog, he was bitten at such a young age and his younger brother tried with all his might to find a cure. Unfortunately their village tried to burn him at the stake during a full moon until he was rescued by a red cloaked hedgehog. Now the two are inseparable, killing those who wrong them, and hiding in secret in a secluded village with their friends. However the two find their relationship and lives are at stake when the two killers discover they're being hunted. By the same people who tried to sacrifice Shadow all those years ago... TW! The blood hunter and the werewolf, who turns out to be Sonic (a rogue), were on the verge of death until they were healed by Silver (a druid) with a shard from the master emerald. Accidentally, Silver may have also placed a curse on the pair. They cannot be separated and are bound to each other's presence. Shadow isn't too happy with the situation, and learns to cope as he journeys with the two- encountering other characters and monsters as they search for a way to break their curse. Not long though, Shadow starts to see the weight of the trauma held on Sonic's shoulders as he struggles to contain his werehog form. -Contains multi shipping The story's main focus is the development between Sonic and Shadow's relationship, with a side story ship between Silver and Espio. (One sonilver scene. One shadilver scene) I only write about healthy relationships. -Ages: Shadow(27), Sonic (26), Silver(24), Espio (25).The rest of the characters have been aged up appropriately and all above 18. When full mobian, Shadow starts to notice the strange feelings he's always had for Sonic grow more and more. He doesn't know what it's called. Sonic says it's love but the azure already gave his heart to someone else.. .. Note this is an au, all ages and personalities are altered to fit the fic.

What if Sonic and Shadow met under different circumstances? Shadow has the mind of an innocent child, and has been held captive by Dr. Eggman for as long as he can remember. Tortured, starved, and experimented on daily. He can't remember anything outside of the cell. He can't remember who he is or what he used to be before. All he remembers is his name. When Team Sonic finds and rescues him, he forms a strong bond with Sonic. But, something is wrong with Shadow, and they discover an experiment that Eggman has been working hard on that involves him. Now, Shadow will need Sonic's help more than ever to get through it. Will their newfound friendship be able to reach that far?
