Charlotte was only twelve when her secondary mutation arose, heaving been left behind by her parents four years prior, a forced beggar, and blowing the only chance she had at a normal life once she used them in self defense. Needless to say, she ran away in hopes that she wouldn't burden her former caretaker with having to raise a mutant. Though, being her, it wouldn't be long until she ran into trouble. A band of goons, to be exact. Thankfully, she was saved by former Jean Grey School janitor, Mortimer Toynbee, and soon saw that both would feel a lot better with someone to travel with, seeing that she was dirt poor and kind of dangerous to humans, and he was still suffering from depression and, well, also dirt poor due to not working for Doctor Frankenstein anymore. Together as hero and sidekick, they would team up and at least try to fight crime. Though this time, the story'll be mostly about the sidekick.

Funny thing is England seems to have a knack for getting himself into sticky situations such as (drum roll please) attending school! Hooray for high school!
