Unfortunately after suffering a devastating loss in the finals of the kalos league against Alain, Ash let's the depression get the best of him. In an attempt to raise his spirits Ash's mum decides to send ash to school to meet new friends and live a normal life. But how will everyone react when someone that has competed in every single league in the world joins their school.

Ash Ketchum has been accepted into a prestigious school called Kizuna Academy. At first, he was reluctant to attend school because he wanted to continue traveling, but he made his final decision after he was persuaded by what was written for him in the letter. Serena Yvonne was also accepted to Kizuna Academy. Initially, she wasn't interested because she wanted to focus on becoming a Pokemon Performer, and to get over her mistake from her first Showcase. That was when she caught a glimpse of a familiar boy on the news at Prism Tower and decided to attend the school after learning that he will be there. Throughout the story, Ash reunites with his old friends and makes new friends as well. And once he and Serena meet each other again, will they be able to enjoy their school lives? After travelling though Kalos without encountering Serena even once and finishing his journey in Alola as the newly crowned Champion, Ash returns to Kanto only to find that he will be attending school in Kalos. The Kalos Institute of Technology. Most of the young and rising Pokemon trainers have been invited to this academy. It is a 4 year course but Ash will be joining in Year 2 as his travelling experiences have already compensated for Year 1.
