Traje la historia a la actualidad , donde ya existe la tecnología y el buen gusto pero también existe la maldad ,la envidia , las fiestas y el alcohol. Las familias importantes dentro de la serie las asimile con las familias de la alta sociedad de ahora. Candy se dará una oportunidad con el amor de su vida , Terry quien ahora es duque de Grandchester , ellos dos lucharan por su felicidad y pelearan con la envidia , celos y maldad de todos los que los rodean.

La muerte de Anthony fue una de las cosas mas tristes que pasó en la serie de Candy Candy. Seguramente te habrás preguntado en mas de una ocasión: ¿Qué hubiera pasado si Anthony no hubiera muerto? ¿Y que si Anthony y Terry se hubieran conocido?
