-1st Place Winner Of The Lavender Awards -2nd Place Winner Of The Starglow Awards -2nd Place Winner Of The Galaxy Awards - Writing is easier than talking. When talking you don't have long to think about the things you are going to say, you just rush them out of your mouth and then later regret most of what you said or others overhear the things you say. When writing there are hundreds of words you can think about using, you aren't rushed, and only the people you want to see, see the the things you write. In these poems i write what i believe and feel, almost all of these poems are about me, my experiences, my opinions and emotions. There will be some that i wrote when i was very young and please respect that those few poems won't have as good grammar and themes as the others. Thank you. "You played with my heart, i played with my life. I was never one to enjoy games." - Glow No More "Everyone has been hurt. Some people just hide the pain better than others" "The worst part about being strong is that no one ever asks if you are ok" "Sleep doesn't help if it's your soul that's tired" "What doesn't kill you leaves you wide awake at 3am wishing it had" "The monsters aren't under the bed, they're living in my head" "The worst feeling is feeling nothing at all" "My eyes are closed but i'm not asleep. My eyes are open but i'm not awake. I will speak but not talk. I will hear but not listen. I will smile and laugh but feel no happiness. It's like i've been swimming in an ocean of nothingness and soon my legs will go numb." "The worst kind of demons aren't the ones in the corner of a dark room, they're the ones who walk among us daily, the ones we think we know." |*| A WATTPAD STORY|*| <3 Highest rank - #78 16th September 2017 <3 Cover by me

* 2017 WATTY WINNER!* Blurb: Humans are at the top of the food chain and always have been. But what if they weren't? What if another took our place and decided to raise and exploit us as we have every other animal on earth? Welcome to a world after humanity... No one is exactly certain where the sibla came from. Some say they evolved from humans long ago, slowly taking power as their numbers increased. Taller, stronger, and longer-lived, than homo sapiens it isn't too hard to imagine. Now humans must face a reality in which they are no more than animals, domesticated beasts bred for their master's various needs and hungers. Rachel Turner is only eight years old. Born in Demin, one of the last remaining free human settlements on earth, she has never been forced to face the reality of life under a sibla Master, living a carefree existence in her hidden village. Magnus Kendrick is a sibla farmer with a sizable estate on which he raises all manner of livestock, from chickens, to sheep, to...humans. He is also the man destined to purchase Rachel's life. *Warning: This book contains a certain degree of gore and disturbing themes Beautiful cover by @my_fairytale 2016 Fright Fest Gold Winner Cryptic's Choice 2017 WATTY Winner ( Story Smiths category) *All Rights Reserved

Sixteen-year-old Sage Greene was locked in a maximum-security asylum for the criminally insane after murdering nearly 200 civilians. It isn't her, though - it's the voices. There are two sides to Sage: the normal, self-conscious teenager, and the Voice lurking inside her head, the one that forced her to strike out and kill. Now, both parts of Sage are being sent into space, destined for a new rehabilitation program upon Mars, with a group of the most dangerous teenagers in America. Before they can reach the red planet, however, they are abducted by a strange alien race and taken away from their spaceship and everything they have ever known to compete in a sadistic set of physical and mental tests nicknamed the Trials. And so far, nobody has survived the Trials. * {Highest ranking: #5 in science fiction as of 9/3/17} [Comment threads contain spoilers at random. You have been warned.] WARNING This is a very dark book that only spirals further down. Murder is discussed and there are slightly graphic scenes.

'They wore uniform grey, their expression hard and distant, their muscles taut with expectation, as if at any moment they were ready to lead an assault, to carry out orders, to kill, to die. And yet they were. Kingston had trained these children to kill at a word, to obey their masters without question. They were machines, the ultimate weapons in modern warfare. Children, as young as seven and as old as eighteen, stood impeccable and fearless, but it was what was hidden in their minds that was to be feared most of all.' Nineteen-year-old Charlotte Owens has entered her final year at Kingston Academy and, together with her best friends, she plans on making it through the year in one piece, away from the scrutinising eye of the headmaster and the founder's son. However, when she discovers that she has been thrust into the role of Head Girl, working alongside a boy she can hardly stand, not only are her plans for anonymity destroyed, but her plans for making it through the year at all seem to be in danger of becoming a wistful dream. Charlotte finds herself faced with the monstrous task of learning to play a game for survival in a world that seems determined to destroy her. Not only fighting for her life, Charlotte must also fight to gain control over the genetic alterations that plague her mind, in an effort to become the soldier she must be. A dark and tense tale of the battle between good and evil, Altered brings to life a strange and deadly world full of power and intrigue, as well as casting light on many secrets that so many hoped would remain undiscovered. Haunting her nightmares are memories of the evil organization that trained her to be a murdering assassin. One of her worst fears comes to life when she is captured by a government organization and forced into a team with seven other enhanced individuals. Along with a strongman, two orphans, one healer, a charming criminal, a slight lunatic and a crime lord, she must take out a rising evil that is killing innocent people for an unknown purpose.
