Flug injures himself from working when exhausted. This causes Black hat to feel sympathetic, and for the first time in his life, he starts to care.

Blackhat was the least holy being among all the unholy beings that ever exsisted, Doctor Flug would have said, if that even made sense. He was always rude and mean to him, but there was something in his attitude that just made Flug feel safe. He was evil, of course. Being evil is the number one quality of a villain, and Blackhat was the king of all villains. But even tought he was what he was, and treated him the way he did, Flug knew he would have done anything to protect him and his companions. And when a mysterious corporation starts threatening Blackhat's company, what will the half-demon do to protect his friends? And mostly, what will he do to protect his scientist?
