John Thornton. He was tall. Handsome for his age and was not the one for a real social conversation. A wealthy cotton mill owner in the north. Madeline Teller. She was young, beautiful and yet head strong. A clergyman's daughter from the south. When their paths suddenly meet after months of strict hiding, John finds that he loves her. But will Ms. Teller feel the same after all that they have been through together? (( This story is only receiving edits on already released chapters and no new chapters are currently in the works. But when Aurora is mysteriously transported to the 1850s world where the novel takes place, she discovers that righting fictional wrongs won’t be as easy as she thought…especially when she develops a crush on the very man she planned to pair for Margaret!

Margaret just misses Mr Thornton at the train station, she ends up marrying Henry Lennox her old friend thinking that Mr Thornton wants nothing to do with her, but they are drawn back together by a series of events, how long can Margaret hold back her feelings for him which have reawakened and how long can he hold back his?

Based on the televised adaptation of Elizabeth Gaskell's 'North & South'. When Margaret Hale moves from the South to a northern industrial town, her relationship with cotton mill owner John Thornton gets off to a shaky start but that changes over time, a little quicker in this short fanfic than in the actual story!

A short one shot and continuation of the story by Elizabeth Gaskell. This is my first time writing fanfiction after years of reading it. I might continue writing this story since I'm very interested in what M and J's life in Miton will be like :)
