Pretty outfits and looks can't hide someone's loops. This is a quote Elizabeth Mason is very much familiar with. Liza wanted nothing more but to live her life normally, well as normal as it can get for a Maestran kid anyway, aka "School for the Troublemakers". But one single dare will change her life forever when Jake Stoll, one of her best friends dares her to go to Charmond's Academy aka "The School for the Ugly Prince and Princesses." She will learn how to walk, talk and act like a princess in order to survive this dare. But as she goes further in further into this dare the more she realizes that this is way more complicated as she thought it was. Will she accomplish her dare? What if what she finds out isn't exactly what she's looking for? Experience the excitement and fun as Liza uncover the secrets, lies and adventures ahead of her and her gang. Because this is not your regular dare game. And who knows? She might even find Prince Charming in all this mess.

After the accident, nothing seemed right. I walked around like a mindless zombie, having the occasional breakdown that involved me rocking back and forth in the fetal position while muttering about imaginary men in spandex suits and lollipops. I shouldn’t have been too surprised when my grandparents shipped me off to spend the summer with my shrink stepmother in the no-name Texan beach town she lives in. Now, I’m stuck in a town full of crazies. It’s as if Noah’s ark of rejects made a home here, and now most of them are flocking to me. When did I turn into a beacon for insane people? All I want to do is get through this summer without fully cracking and getting a full ride trip to the funny farm. Is that too much to ask? Although, it might be what I deserve after what I did. Karma seems to have it out for me. Or maybe Old Man Wallace—or whatever his name is today—is right, and the androids really are out to get us all. This was supposed to be the perfect escape—a way to get away from everything back home. It’s starting to look like I’m in a summer chick flick gone way, way wrong.

Jack and Alice are best friends. They have known each other since secondary school. Alice certainly isn't one of those shy, quiet girls. No, she is loud, strong headed and speaks her mind. Although she isn't one of the most reserved girls you would ever meet, she, like many, still believes in true love and that her prince is out there - much to Jack's amusement. Jack, like Alice is a strong willed person, loud, direct and honest. Their personalities are so alike and it's a wonder how they don't clash. But unlike Alice, he hates the idea of being tied down to just one person - why have one when you could go out every night and get a new one? It's better to live your life as a player than as a boyfriend or husband...Right? Even the thought of true love is hilarious. Let's be honest, it doesn't even exist...Right? Wrong. When Jack meets Gabriella, his whole player lifestyle is turned upside down as he tries his hardest to get her attention. He feels a totally different attraction to her, he doesn't want to just use her, he wants to keep her, he actually wants to be labelled the title of being a 'boyfriend', of being her boyfriend. So when Jack realises that his whole player reputation is what is driving Gabriella away, he requests the help of his best friend Alice to help him change and to help him prove himself worthy of Gabriella's love and attention. But along the way, his love, focus and attraction gets mixed up and now he doesn't even know which girl it is that he truly loves and which girl he wants to prove his worthiness to. How will he decide...but when he does make his decision, is it too late? Has he pushed the one girl he's ever truly loved too far? Let's face it, someone's going to get their heart broken...question is, who will it be?

Be kind enough to understand that this condition is normal for a book written by a teenager who wrote it at sixteen years of age. If you're not a certificated grammarian, don't dare to comment about the lack of healthy grammar and syntax this story has. It's obvious. I'm aware of it. Read at own risk.
