L'origine de leur création est encore inconnue à ces jours et tous les Summoners portent la "marque"... Ils représentent 5% de la population. -Et les inhumains, des humains dotés de pouvoirs dangereux et instables. Ils seraient responsables des trois Grandes Guerres opposant les Summoners et les inhumains qui ont failli éradiquer toute forme de vie sur Azarrog. La toute récente Organisation Mondiale qui a été créé par les dirigeants des 5 Saints-royaumes a décidé de créer de petites communautés appelés "guildes" pour contrôler les Summoners et les Inhumains et ainsi éviter un nouveau conflit.
