Season 7 had started a couple of months ago and yet Grian kept on having nightmares about a destroyed server engulfed in purple flames since the day he stepped in the new world. At first he didn't pay much attention to them and tried to forget the ghosts of his past but when one of said ghosts crashed in the Cowmercial district asking for his help he understood that he couldn't keep on running forever, especially when his old friend's lives were being threatened by some evil beings he knew very well, because nothing is stronger than an Admin's Allegiance

Turns out, the Golden Mech wasn't the only thing locked in the Temple of Light for centuries. Upon entering the Island of Darkness, Kai, Cole, Jay, Zane, and Lloyd find a mysterious girl asleep in the Temple of Light. Things get a little complicated when she becomes mixed up in Garmadon's experiments, giving her strange powers and a place among the team. New threats arise as dark secrets of the past are uncovered, threatening the very existence of the world as they know it. Oh well! Just another day in Ninjago.
