Minako Shizuka adalah seorang putri vampir dari kerajaan Cesteria. Saat kecil, Minako tinggal di bumi karena suatu hal. Saat ia tamat kelas 6 SD, Minako kembali ke Cesteria. Beberapa bulan kemudian, ia masuk ke sekolah idamannya, Royal Magic Academy. Disana kehidupan sesungguhnya pun dimulai.
