Prince Caydeyrn Di Vel Delphine. Commander of the royal battalion. A legend dressed in iron and silk. He's noble, honorable, devastatingly handsome-every inch the kind of man a kingdom worships, and a woman trusts with her life. Josephine Caldwell. A healer from the quiet provinces. Sweet as spring rain. Gentle as moonlight. Her magic draws pain into her own body so others can breathe again. She gives everything-her strength, her sleep, her peace-and asks for nothing in return. To Prince Caydeyrn, she was a miracle. She never wanted a crown. Never wanted love. But Caydeyrn offers both like they're hers by right. It's meant to be a pure love story. Wholesome. Romantic. It's supposed to make me swoon. But I don't. Because I don't want the prince. I want the other one. Duke Evander De LaCroix. The king's nephew. Vanished at eight. Returned a man-silent, changed. Not only broken. Twisted. Cold. Predatory. Wrong. The story details there is something unclean in the way he looks at people. Like he's already imagining what their screams might sound like. And when he sees Josephine? He fixates. He hunts her. Watches her like she's prey-like he's already decided to break her. She hides behind Caydeyrn's protection, clutching her innocence like armor. And every time Evander steps onto the page, I can't breathe. Not because I'm scared - but because I wish he looked at me like that. The book says he's wrong. That he's twisted. Dangerous. That Josephine's fear is justified. That Caydeyrn is the right choice. But I don't want safety. I want to be ruined by the villain. It's not their slow-burn romance anymore. It's my obsession. And the worst part? I know he would hate me. He wouldn't love me. He'd see the dark little thing I am and realize that I am not the innocent maiden he obsesses over. I'm lucky if he would ruin me for the fun of it. And God help me, I'd let him. Gladly.

He was reincarnated into a stereotypical shoujo manga with magic and fantastical creatures- not as any of the main cast, but the villain's butler, a kindhearted but loyal to a fault beastkin who fought to his death to let his abusive master escape- a mere narrative tool to make the villain seem even crueler. Unlike the original, however, he was not kind, nor was he loyal. He is not above killing, stealing, and lying- and he did not care if he was despised. To avoid a meaningless, pitiful death, he would even scheme his way to escape fate. Upon meeting the young villain, however, there was a change of plans. In this second life of his, he'll bet everything on the villain, and fulfill what the original couldn't- he will help the villain find the happiness that was so cruelly taken from him- no matter what it takes. Basic Synopsis: Maki Tanaka is lazy. Really, that's it. Real Synopsis: Maki Tanaka had died after being pushed in front of the speeding truck. Without even a rest in between, he found himself transmigrated to the most innovated Otome Game of the Year called 'The Noblest of Love'. Honestly, Tanaka couldn't care less about being inside of an otome game. He couldn't care less about all the capture targets, the so-called villain, the heroine, and even less about the fact that he's supposed to be some cannon fodder for his brother, Edward, who is one of the capture targets, to step on. He just wanted to sleep dammit. After angering his father (therefore pissing off the rest of his family) with his listlessness, he was banished to Wisteria Estate on the other side of the capital separated from the main household. Which is awesome for Tanaka because he doesn't have to listen to his so-called 'family' prattle on and on about his uselessness. Even so, it seemed there are some things that he couldn't avoid... The villain for example. Tanaka: I'm sleepy... Villain: Then let me hold you in my arms while you sleep~ Tanaka: I'm hungry... Villain: Then I'll feed you~ Tanaka: I'm tired... Villain: A bath might help you relax. Just turn around and let me wash your back~ Tanaka: I'm sore... Villain: I can massage your body~ Tanaka: ...But it's your fault that I'm sore... (AN: The MC starts off as a child, so any romantic development would be in later chapters. Some innocent tofu-touching will happen early on though~)
